Buju Banton guilty to cocaine charge
A Florida jury has found Grammy-winning reggae singer Buju Banton guilty on charges of cocaine conspiracy.
Jurors returned their verdict on Tuesday after the decision for 11 hours over two days.
The 37-year-old Banton, was on trial on charges of conspiring with two other men in the creation of a drug deal in December 2009. His album "Before the Dawn" won the Grammy last week for best reggae album.
Banton was charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine with intent to, among other counts. This is the second process Banton. A jury deadlocked in his first trial last year.
Banton faces up to 20 years in prison.
