The Port Authority of Pittsburgh has resumed service after the snowstorm hit the area. The snowstorm hit the area Monday, causing officials to shut down services at 10:00 EST.
According to the weather news WPXI Pittsburgh, the Port Authority bus routes and the railway became operational again as usual on Tuesday morning. However, there are still many delays to buses due to bad road conditions. T light rail system is following its normal schedule. Additionally, the service took over the Monongahela Incline. E 'was also closed on Monday night for time.
It 's always a hassle when the weather interfere with the travel plans of people, especially with Friday is a holiday. For commuters and travelers might be better to call ahead to check with the service they are using the Port Authority. Yet this is good news for many, as they will be able to get to work, at least in near normal.
