Results of amplified by Enterprise sales

Dell Tuesday reported an increase of more than a year of 177% in net income for the fourth quarter of 2011, driven by growth in enterprise server and PC sales.

The company's profit was 927 million in the quarter that ended on 28 January, increasing by $ 334 million in the fourth quarter of last year.

However, the Consumer Division Of revenue was $ 3.3 billion, falling 8 percent from the fourth quarter of last year, which has received a major boost with the launch of the Microsoft operating system Windows 7. The operating system has been credited with boosting sales of PCs.
