Apple iPad 2 is already in production--according to the Wall Street Journal. The report says iPad 2 is thinner and lighter than the original and will be available with a faster processor, more memory and a more powerful graphics processor.
The article quoted "people familiar with the matter" and also said that iPad second generation will have a front camera in order to use Facetime feature Apple. It also submits that the resolution of your display iPad 2 will be similar to the first iPad, excluding the inclusion of Retinal display used on Apple iPhone 4.
Other rumors about the next generation iPad have included:
--A case of carbon fiber, to reduce weight and increase mobility (can)--Dual cameras; a front camera for video calls and a rear camera Facetime to take photos and record high definition video clips (very likely)--three-axis gyroscope, the same used on the iPhone; 4 (can)--A USB port (highly unlikely)--An SD card slot (can)--A Retina display the same used on the iPhone 4 (unlikely)--design case thinner than current iPad (very likely)--a 7a short version (highly unlikely)--no home button; use of multi-touch gestures instead (unlikely)--iPad 3 to follow iPad 2 September (highly unlikely)
