Bits: Tech Talk Podcast: Online Water Cooler

An experience of two screens for TV? This week the bits: Tech Talk show Bettina Edelstein talks to Brian Stelter, a media reporter for The Times, the television industry's embrace of social networking. With a growing number of people chatting on TV show on Twitter, Facebook and other sites, television executives are trying to tap into what's called Mr. Stelter "the water cooler."

Quirky 3D barcodes are cropping up all over — on public service announcements, billboards, in magazines and even on mass transit. Pedro Rafael Rosado takes a look at the technical term "mobile tagging" and explains what makes this technology and how it works.
